Headquartered in Shanghai, China, Gillion technologies is one of the few software and services providers worldwide, capable of developing global information management system, for the shipping and logistics industry. Providing customized and consistently improved software solutions, designed with today’s dynamic supply chain and systems engineering theory in mind, in conjunction with consultation, training and technical support services to help streamline the processes, reduce operational costs and create value for companies. As the first Chinese software company to launch its maritime logistics software products successfully into the global mainstream market, Gillion has established a marketing and services system across North America, Europe and China. At the end of 2004, Gillion was selected by China"s Ministry of Science and Technology as one of the experimental units for China"s Off shore Software Engineering Project (COSEP) . In May 2005, Gillion was awarded the Gold Prize as the best Shipping and Logistics software provider at the 4 th annual China Freight Industry Awards. Today we employ about 400 people, of which 80% are technicians. One fourth of our employees have overseas working experience. 
Currently, Gillion Technologies has released three series of over ten software products: Container Liner transport Management, Integrated Logistics Management and Data Exchange Service. Our products are running successfully in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea and many other countries in the world, their copyrights, trademarks and production authentication are registered both domestically and internationally. Including “GemShipTM” –our highly acclaimed International Container Liner Information System, whose R&D has received the Technology Innovation Fund from China"s Science and Technology Ministry. In 2005, “GemShipTM” was listed on China"s Developing Foreign Trade by Science and Technology Project.
Gillion cooperates with leading domestic universities and research institutions in the field of maritime logistics; such as Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, Maritime College of Jimei University and Wuhan University of Technology, by setting up multiple cooperation and training projects, dedicated to the development of China"s outsource software services sector and maritime logistics industry.
